Quite a bit of bickering already.

The important points.

A simple tune on the turbo 4 will probably net an additional 20 hp/tq. Exhaust/intake and tune will be an additional 30 hp/tq. Stepping up to a slightly larger turbo and inter cooler will probably turn these "puny 4 bangers" into 12 second 450+ hp cars.

The aftermarket will be far more aggressive and abundent for the turbo 4 cyl vs the 6. I have a feeling that the v6 is going to end up being the black sheep as far as modifications go. The potential of a small turbo 4 is just too great for the tuners to pass up. Whereas the v6 only achieves modest gains $ for $ vs a turbo 4.
