Yeah. Challenger sales are a distant 3rd, but people who buy them aren't in it for the competition like Mustang and Camaro buyers are. They are in it because they think the Challenger is a beautiful car and an expression of design that pulls in retro elements more-so than the others. It's the classic American formula of more power to compensate for extra pounds. They don't care what the rest of the world is doing, or if the 6th gen Camaro shed 200 lbs. They don't care about the z/28 or GT350 — they have a 707 HP Hellcat.

I give kudos to this community for sure. I was very close to getting a Challenger myself, but back in 2013, the lineup was a lot less interesting than it is now and the interior was horrible. Even more than the 5th gen Camaro. Today, it'd be a tougher choice for me personally. Somebody at work has a 2015 Scat Pack in black, and I do envy it every time I hear it start up. Even with an aftermarket exhaust, my car doesn't have as much character to the exhaust note. And to the dismay of others on this board, although the 6th gen Camaro sounds better than the 5th, it has still has nothing on the Scat Pack tbh. I've heard both in person.
