The NPP exhaust, heads up display, colored upholstery, Z51 package etc. etc. had no interest to me. My opinion is that a 1LT Corvette which is a fully featured car as it comes at a $50,000 price tag is a better buy compared to a 2SS Camaro with a $50,000 price tag. Both cars are amazing performers in 1SS and 1 LT configuration. The NPP exhaust, 6 piston calipers, heads up display, etc. etc. etc. are just gingerbread I would never spend any money on because they don't increase the fun of driving the car at all since it already handles, accelerates, stops, etc. etc. fantastically.

Excellent points. I will also add that the performance limits are so high on these cars even in base trim that you can't fully realize the benefit in typical street driving. The best bang for the buck is a 1SS Camaro with NPP as the only option and wait til end of year and rebates kick in and buy the sucker for under $35k.
