I think it all boils down to personal preference when it comes to exhausts. It always has. Flowmaster, Corsa, Borla etc are all LEGIT companies. They do sound just a little different as well. I do apologize for keep saying the next sentence... But he does have an LT1 and the similarities of C7 to the new camaro is nuts. Well, same people who designed the c7 designed our babies lol.... For my friends C7 we narrowed down all the xpipes to Corsa and Borla. Both weighted about the same (borla being less weight but cant remember the exact number) and both were the same install... We went with Borla just because we both liked the sound of Borla better. Borla is the stock diameter of 2.75' where as the corsa was 3'.

Like I said in the beginning, it is all a personal choice on what YOU want to get. Reason we went with Borla is because it was quieter in cabin due to being 0.25 less in diameter but yet still added so much more real growl to the LT1 which made it PERFECT. Some prefer the whole shabang of zero cats, long tube headers and all... Some don't. So no judging haha.
