Maybe not in a press car LOL.
But otherwise it's called power shifting. When I used to race my 10 sec LS1 4th gen Camaro I used to never lift off the throttle until I was past the traps and by then I was in 4th gear. Depending on the car it can have a nice advantage when drag racing. People have been doing it for years, just need to be a very quick shifter...
