The 6th Gen is the better performing car and nobody is trying to debate otherwise. The statement was the Alpha was better chassis than what is under the Mustang. I don't have any data that says it is.

Perhaps that's where things went wrong for the Mustang. Alpha is a platform that "include MacPherson struts on the front, 5 link independent rear, use of high strength steel and aluminum, and an overall focus on reducing weight."
