I feel the same way. They've could called the current "Charger" anything else and it wouldn't have mattered. To me, a Charger should always be a RWD, 2-door, V8 powered car. The fact that they hung the name on a 4-door sedan might actually hurt sales a little... I know it's a turn off for me and, right or wrong, it's the number one thing that discourages me from ever owning one. (Yes, they did the same thing on the 1980's 4 banger... but I didn't buy one of those either.) If you're gonna resurrect a respected model name, then show it some respect.
If Chevy ever hangs the Camaro name on a 4-door, I'll never buy one.
