This is what we were told about Z51 Corvettes as well. Unfortunately that is not the case in the real world. I am glad the Gen6 Camaro took steps to keep the car cool when it is used on the track and learned from Corvettes mistakes.

Very interesting OldJedy, I was waiting to hear about this cooling improvement for the new camaros drivetrain. Have you heard something about, if there is any improvements on the A8 transmission issues that some Stingray, ZO6, pickups are experiencing, like rough shiftting, etc? It will be good to know. I'm very interested on a new SS with the A8 (hopefully 1LE if available) but first will like to know if we can trust the new LT1 & A8 powertrain, for them to have the same GM reliability like prior Corvettes and Camaros that have very good reputation at the track.
