I don't think they believe it will be that big a seller vs the other 2 models and I'm sure they would rather get the Camaro out for their enthusiasts vs the T4 buyer who is most likely just buying it for a DD/gas savings.
The one thing Chevy got so right is the T4 -> V6 - V8 order unlike Ford who really confused the heck out of consumers. Their V6 should have been the mid model.
