Well put it this way...I was not a fan of the gen 5...I like the gen 6 a lot. So they changed enough in my eyes to make me do a 100% change in judgement looks wise. They made it more aggressive, and sleeker in just the right way...
Also, remember the gen 5 was a huge seller, and beat the Mustang for like the first time ever. GM wasn't going to mess with a good thing too much.
IMO biggest improvement overall is not even the powertrain, it's the new interior.

You don't like the 5th but the 6th why it looks just like the 2015 but smaller. They thru some LED's on it put some cheap vents in the hood ugly fin they changed very little now inside very nice way different but outside just looks like anothe refresh like the 2014. To say you didn't like the 5th gen 2010 to 2013 is the best looking camaro ever made that's why sale were great.
