Don't try and force your opinions / views / judgements on others because you disagree. Why not just be open minded? I don't see people complaining about it when people talk about buying C7's instead, only when people bring up Ford (or Dodge) products... I wonder why that is?

Umm, no. I don't care what you buy, I'm just pointing out the comparisons are ridiculous. As you can maybe tell, I own a Ford. I'd say there is more reasoning comparing a 350 to a Vette and to a Camaro coupe than there is a coupe to a convertible.. So, stop forcing your opinions on others. I wonder why you're doing that.
Now, there is no more reason to buy a GT350 over a Camaro SS than there is to buy one over a Mustang GT with PP.
Same thing has been brought up vs the Corvette comparison. It's not apples r apples. People want to compare a fully loaded 48k Camaro with everything available to a barebones 55k dollar Corvette.. Well, stupid ass comparison. If you don't need all those options on the Vette, then you live without them on the Camaro.
2SS to base Corvette is a 13k dollar difference. That's a lot of money.
