I never said it had to be $3500 but other than the 6 pot brakes, if we get rid of the dry sump LT1, what did my list have that the current 1LE doesn't? Even the brakes are already in the parts bin. The CTS-V has them, and as we have been told, platform sharing makes upgrades like this cheaper. So make it $4500 to get some 6 piston brakes and two piece rotors. I think that's pretty reasonable, considering the SS already has the MN6 trans that the 1LE included.
Didn't the original 1LE come with suspension and brake upgrades?
