Back on topic.... honestly if the zl1 doesnt have a 7xx hp rating it will not compete. The hellcats and the new gt500 are going to both have 700hp+ figures.
And the only way that would happen if either the z06 gets a bump, a zr1 appears with 700hp+ or the camaro finally breaks the mold and has a powerplant that is more powerful than the one in the vette.

I don't think we will see anything in the 700hp range. Like you said unless the Z06 gets a power bump I see the next ZL1 getting no more than 650hp.
