I think the auto shows a bigger difference on the ats-v since it would allow the turbo to get spooled up at launch. With the lt1, as seen on the vette, the difference will be smaller between the two trans options.

And that's a problem. That's a M7 vs A8. Not what we are dealing with for the 6th gen. Short 2 cogs vs 1. Take that and multiply by 2 and you get 4 tenths difference in the 1/4. Matches the ATS-V close now. The shift speed isn't the big factor. Effective gearing is.
