And they probably just raised the 2015 prices to make the 2016s price look better. They did that on the 2013 trucks about 6 months before the prices came out on the new 2014s model change.
So if I could get MRC on a 2015 2SS auto, I would be about a grand over the base 2016 2SS. But now an auto MRC is 46m smooth...At this price I will for sure drive a GT and a scat pac. and a C with and with out mrc...and then again a damn FWD cross over at chevy can sticker over 40m...

Actually the price you're quoting is a discount from the normal price as GM is already clearing cars out and offering discounts.
Your logic around the RS pack is pricelss. So why not just make higher end items free for all??? Not going to happen. To make the 2015 2SS options even close to the same as the 2016 2SS you need to add almost $3000. Anyone who knows anything about pricing and new model prices expected a $1K minimum increase if not more.
You seem to think these cars were going to be loaded at a discount.... #Expectations
