I drove my 2014 1LT all last winter and will be driving the Gen6 as well. Yes, I have all-season tires and the car was fine in up to 6" of snow. Remember one night driving home from work it had snowed, been plowed, iced, snowed again to the point where the roads just were snow covered by a couple inches. I'm not going to buy another car for the winter in Jersey.
Anyway, I've also lived here my whole life and my first car was a Camaro, then a Mustang GT, Trans Am, Corvette, the only FWD car I've had was an Acura for a short time. Drove them all winter long. It's all in your skills (to a point) and knowing the limits and how the car drives so I'm grateful for a snow/ice option.
