And let's not forget the the R MSRP is $61k, I'm sure adding another $10k in brakes to make it the same price as the Z/28 wasn't well received given the Z/28s sales. Ford definitely didn't want to make that mistake when it knows it will only sell a few anyway.

Carbon ceramic brakes are overrated all around, IMO. If they cost a third of what they do it would probably be worth it on a production car.
