You can buy from one dealer and have it shipped to another dealer. The receiving dealer charges a fee, somewhere between 300 to 600 to prep and deliver the car.
No shipping charges or carrier needed.
I was going to do this with my C7 when I was buying from a dealer on the east coast and have it shipped to a dealer here in Michigan.
Not all dealers do it, just call around.

I would never do courtesy delivery, have heard a lot of horror stories and most dealers get pissed off because you didn't buy from them. Usually the only dealers that don't mind are the ones that have low allocations, so they understand that it would be a long wait if you ordered from them, so they are OK with it and they make a few hundred bucks to boot.
