Do I like everything about the new Camaro? Nope, Id have liked the front to be more balanced, the lower fascia is way too large, but I understand why it is that way, form following function with the increased radiators and all.
I would have also liked a more aggressive look, more like 5th gen where those cars look like they want to punch you in the face, especially '10-'13, but its close to where I want it.
C & D for me
I like it, Id love a couple of things changed, but overall Its a great evolution.

I agree....C & D
C) Think its a good evolution of the current car?
I do like the direction they went with the 6th gen. It is more athletic and muscular. I do love the interior, that's A1...but the execution of some exterior details is where it fails, imho.
D) Think it could have been better?
Yep. The tail lights BIG disappointment. With the Stingray tail lights for inspiration they should've been a home run but only a bloop single. Heck the RS tail lights in my '15 are better than these. And the multiple planes on the rear bumper mostly just don't flow, a bit overworked. A little on the front bumper as well on the non SS front bumper in the headlight area, but hard to tell from photos. The hood vents, aaaack; I'm glad they have them, just not inspired by the way they look. Also read somewhere that the bolt pattern on the wheels is different.
But with that said....I'll wait to see the different versions of the car in person.
