The Boss was offered as a whole different sub model where the 1LE is just an option package, but the two fill roughly the same role.
Both cars have had special editions so I didn't count them. So in the end the Mustang has a whopping 1 more separate model. Frankly it comes off as nitpicking to bring that up as a mark against Ford.
