The GT, GT350 GT350R and eventual GT500 Are all made in house by ford. they are Ford produced vehicles. They are the equivalent to SS, Z/28 ZL-1.
the Super Snake and any other Shelby name on a mustang are post title packages that anyone with a mustang can pay Shelby American for. NOT related to Ford in anyway other than you have to supply Shelby American with a Mustang. Think of Shelby American like a lingefelter car, or whatever post title package companies are out there for Camaros.
