I have a curve ball on the performance of the 6th generation Camaro.......
The 2001 E46 BMW M3 had a weight of around 3,430 pounds and packed 333BHP, the 2016 V-6 Camaro should be around 3,450 pounds and packs 335BHP.
Car and Driver tested a 2001 M3 and got to 60 in 4.5 seconds and ran a 13.1 @ 107MPH in the 1/4. It looks like base wise the 2016 V-6 Camaro will be close to the E46 M3 with a better chassis and better tires to boot.
