It all depends on what you're used to seeing. It happens all the time. When you are used to looking at Chevy's, or pony cars, or American cars in general, the differences between the Camaro & Mustang are pretty obvious. But if you are used to midsize sedans, or imports, or some other segment of the market its hard to look past the long hood/short deck profile that the Camaro & Mustang share because that's their single most obvious feature that sets them apart from most other cars.
