Might be but I thought Japanese when I first saw it. Definitely the 2010 - 2013 was in the design pattern of the corvette at the time. The new taillight so have grown on me.
Remember when your dad got new glasses when you were a kid and thought he looked goofy? Same thing. Eventually you like his look.
