It will be turned off in sport mode, as well as the 4 cylinder mode. I haven't actually seen confirmation of that, but I'm about 95% sure of it b/c it just makes sense, and two, the corvette does not go into 4 cylinder mode in sport mode either. I can see GM carrying down that trait to the Camaro. (ss and V6)
