I would like to thank you, as well. I had my doubts about the car, and I admittedly harbor some anger towards GM for cancelling the Fbodies in 2003. As a faithful(some would say "fanboy") GM owner, who spent as much time actually AT the track representing, as on forums amongst competition and fellow owners, it felt like a major slap in the face. We ate, drank, and slept these cars. Word of the Camaros return with the 5th Gen was....well, just indescribable. The whole car club got together and went and watched Transformers in theater just to SEE the Camaro. We all stood up and applauded when Bumblebee rolled thru that tunnel. I know I was not the only one with a tear in my eye. Ill never forget that day. But, because of being left with few options during the hiatus, my taste moved on. By the time the 5th Gen actually went on market I had developed a taste for Corvettes. The 5th Gen, NUMBERS WISE, just could not be justified for me. Too heavy. Performance was not what I was expecting.
I only say all this, to say this..... The 2016 IS WORTH IT! The 2016 is what I was waiting for in 2010. What I had hoped for. This car is spectacular. It is obvious that yall LISTENED to the enthusiests. I genuinly mean "thank you". Its hard to believe that sheetmetal and aluminum can hold such a strong place in one's heart, but I know that there are a lot of guys like me that have been waiting for this car, a long, long time.
