You are definitely, literaly, helping save someone's life OP.

Your update is the reason, I dont like or trust cops. Hopefully a lawsuit ensues for wrongful arrest. Cant believe an officer would literaly be so pig-headed so as to not even want to hear you out / meet up and see the evidence and in turn, ruin some innocent man's life.

Keep us updated OP.
Sometimes, getting an arrest is more important than getting the correct perp.... and this could happen to anybody.

Please be vigilant, MR. Sarge... we're all behind you, rooting you on. Zyborg is right, somebody's life depends on this: A wrongful conviction, surely a felony with speeds like that and evasion, will change--- ruin--- an innocent person's life. Right now, you are the ONLY thing standing between a felony conviction for an innocent, and real justice.

I'm hoping that people with more legal experience will chime in, and offer ways of finding the wrongfully charged person's name, ways to contact his lawyer/ public defender, etc. I also think that the idea of getting the media involved is a great idea. I have gotten video and stills of local events, which I have submitted to SoCal TV stations... not only do they love this stuff, but (not that this is your motivation) they will pay cash, too. THIS happens to be more than just cool video: It's a GREAT story, a thing the media would love to air and expose.
