That's kind of a worthless poll. 1,082 U.S. car owners...out of millions of people who own cars. You can poll another 1,082 people and get the exact opposite of that poll.
So to say nearly 25% of U.S. car owners have a special name for their car, they are really saying nearly 25% of 1,082 people. So about 43 people that they polled.
