No one said they didn't want the technology in the new car or the modern operation of a modern car.

All a few of us said is that, aesthetically speaking, a car like a Camaro, or a Challenger, or a Mustang, or a GTO damn well better be connected somehow to the predecessors of the models' heyday.

That's why the 5th gen is so successful, why the Challenger is so successful, why the previous Mustang was so successful.
Ask they buyers of these cars what they love about it. I bet most of them say the looks and how they look (or at least have the "feel") like the original versions.

And I think the designers were absolutely spot on with the design of the 5th gen interior.
It looks like nothing else on the road. It looks and feels like "Camaro".

Sounds like the new one is going to get a generic mid 20-teens interior.


And if the manufacturers want to introduce a modern looking car, just give it a new name. That's all.
