Would make sense.
All bmw's share the same front end (in different sizes). So does all new fords. Mercs Kia's vw's and so on. It has become a trend to add similarities within the brand on different models.
Personally i think it's a damn shame. But im also the type of person who debadges cars as i dont care if others know what im driving.
But again, it makes sense for Chevy to rely on a more unified design language among tje various models.
