T-tops just won't happen. Too hard to pass roof crush. The only help would be that I believe convertibles now have to pass the side impact pole test just like a coupe or sedan. The government has always classified T-tops as a coupe so the standards are more rigorous than a convertible. A targa is considered in the same class as a convertible, which is why we still have that on the Corvette.

T-Tops didn't work out too well back in the 80's when the Camaro/Firebirds had them. They usually squeaked, leaked, and rattled. It would be great for this Camaro to have a Targa top, but as I said in my earlier post, I don't believe the trunk is wide enough to store it. Interesting to know that the Targa is classified as a vert.
