In my opinioin, when your drving a muscle car, one would think that MPG isn't as big of a deal as true muscle. Now, this is why we have v6's that way you get a combination of both. To me, MPG isn't that important over HP. I guess if you can afford a 35+ car, you can afford 3.00 - 3.50 a gallon (currently).

Car manufacturers aren't making muscle cars get better gas mileage because it's what people want. It's because of CAFE standards.
