OLD SUCKS!

The biggest mistake folks make when getting back into shape is pushing themselves too hard too fast. Best is always slowly working the muscles, and giving them time to recover, without over stressing the muscles. The first two weeks it's better to use only very light weights with higher reps.

As soon as you start to feel discomfort - STOP. Your breathing should not be pushed beyond the point where you are unable to speak without gasping. You should be able to talk like normal.

There's no fast way to get in shape. The majority of people whom sign up for classes quit because they get too sore. Plus who the heck wants self inflected pain? We get enough aches and pains just from getting older.

Hmm, speaking of short cuts??? Aqualipo? I've know several "short cut" gals, always look'n for the easy way around thing. Diet pills, lipo, or whatever new gimmick is the "in thing" today. Lipo will work, but there are definite consequences for taking the easy way. And by "easy way" I mean instead of eating healthy and exercising.

The body has a predetermined number of fat cells. Those cells, either enlarge or stay small, depending on your eating and activity levels. The best example of enlarged fat cells is to look closely at cellulite. You can see the "lumpiness" of the enlarged fat cells.

Lipo permanently removes those fat cells. So what's the big deal, isn't that the whole idea, to get rip of the fat cells? Short answer - NO. If you haven't changed your lifestyle/eating habits, sure you no longer have those fat cells to store the fat, well actually you don't have the fat cells in that particular area, so the fat Immediately Goes Somewhere Else. And now you have a Brand New Fat Problem Area.

So people whom don't change their eating habits, get lipo, then in just a few years time, go back to get lipo again in their new problem area, again and again. Like a dog chasing their tail, they're just moving the problem around.

Works great if you change your lifestyle and stick to it. And sure some people have a real stubborn area. They've been eating healthy for years and years, exercise regularly, but still just can't get rid of the last little bit of fat. I see no problem with some sort of lipo, some laser procedures are 100% non-invasive. You just lay on the table and the laser penetrates the subcutaneous layers literally melting and draining the fat from the cells.

Doesn't come cheap, you'll be spending thousands $$$. But it's absolutely a personal choice and if that makes the person happy, to each their own. It's their life and their business. I'd do plenty of research first, for the negatives and positives.
