Thank you very kindly. I have to admit I'm exaggerating for effect, but only slightly.
The convertible's rear quarter visibility (or lack of) makes things a bit worse when backing and parking. I have rally stripes which help greatly in judging position on the road, otherwise it think it would be very hard to visually pick out the center of the hood. Good tip on using the mirrors, I'll give that a try.
