Did any of you really think that the Hellcat would run low 11s on a unprepped street surface, really?
Lets look at the Scatpack/SRT 392s for our example, Dodge claimed low 12-sec times, the mags tested to 12:80s-13:00s, in a very short time, actual owners now have several low 12s with a best of 12:14. Did Dodge lie?
Dodge claims low 11s for the Hellcats. The mags tested 11:40s - 11:90s. I don't know of any actual owner passes at the strip yet but we will soon find out if Dodge lied.
If you want to bash the Hellcat have at it, but I would wait until some actual owners take their cars to the track and get some passes completed. I'm pretty sure that the Scatpack naysayers are looking pretty ill informed now.
