Yes! Chevy has not built the highest HP cars in the industry but they will let you take it to the strip or an HPDE and warranty if there is a problem.
I was told by a 392 owner at the strip that his dealer checks the wheel housing for rubber and he was surprised the GM warranties playing at the track.
