I doubted him as well, however, I have been dealing with this person for the past 3 years and with this dealership for the past 13 years. They always treated me well, they were always courteous, professional and never BS'ed me. To be honest, they are the reason I went back and got another GM instead of anything else. I never got the "let me talk to the manager" crap and I got (from them) a Regal, a Cobalt, an Equinox, a Malibu and now I am planning on getting a '14 Camaro.
I would not wait for it, I like the Camaro the way it is (ok, maybe I like the older rear end better) and I want to get it. It is a great engine, a great package, a mature car. Hopefully, all the financing things will fall into place and I get it.
As for the sales rep, he's been in the business for 25 years or so. Why would he lie to me, I don't know. I mean, it is a sale after-all. We will see soon enough.
But, what if he is right?
