I keep hearing about government grants for businesses, but I haven't figured out where to find them and apply for them. It is for a startup business I've been putting together and getting ready to launch at the end of next month. Does anyone on here have experience with getting and using government grants? I've already checked grants.gov and it is not very helpful and doesn't have anything for startups. It does have grants for existing businesses, but all the site does is send you to another link that links to somewhere else infinitely.

Just trying to get a solid basis before seeking seed-money or loans.
