The supercharged Z06 demonstrates a change in Chevy's philosophy about track engines. I'd lean towards guessing there will be a Z/28 first to counter Ford's GT350. If a more powerful engine emerges for the ZR1 than maybe we see a ZL1.
Chevy's brand image is refined chassis, balance car so I don't see dominating 1/4 mile drag racing as their top priority. Question I have is how would they configure the Z/28 to make it a volume seller. Do a performance option like the C7 Z07 to add the serious track goodies?
