BTW -- That rant aside I am still a loyal GM customer, it will take more than a crummy dealer to change that. I come from a long line of GM people, my dad used to work for GM, my Granfathers on both sides of the the family were career GM people, 2 uncles are GM people, well at least for now.
My home loan is with GMAC, I have a reasonable bank acount with what used to be GMAC and is now Ally, and my car insurance is with GMAC. I am just paying cash for my Camaro since there were no 0% financing deals to be had on the Camaro, at least none I could find, which was how I financed my Grand Prix 0% from GMAC but it is long paid off.
The only non-loyal GM thing I did was dump my stock a few years ago, but it was not them, I an in the brokerage business albiet on the technology side and sort of saw some of thiws coming and got almost totally out of the market and parked my money in treasuries and what I know pretty sweet looking CD's paying around 4.5%.
