Anyone who believes that is dreaming or doesn't understand that a Z06 (heavy C7) won't be outperformed by a V6 (light) Camaro with half the power -but weighs slightly less
The C7 starts out slightly under the base ATS. But that is V8 to I4. The V6 ATS weighs nearly 200 lbs more than the C7, and a V8 would be an extra 100 or so lbs on top of
that. So, LT1 to LT1 even the most optimistic estimate that I can think of gives a 200 lbs advantage to the Corvette, and it could be as much as 400 by my figurin'.
