If money is a little to large concern consider community college beforehand for 2 years. They have many programs that are direct feeders for UCs

This is exactly what I am doing. I am in the last semester of getting my AA from a local community college, and planned to sign a TAG (Transfer Admittance Guarantee), but was 1 credit short to be considered. Total BS too, considering I pulled myself though 4 hard-ass summer classes with a 4.0 just to boost my GPA enough to make the requirement
