To me, I find it useful. It helps when I am doing something in class or work to see if its something that needs me to respond right away or if it can wait without taking out my phone. This helps a lot as with work as I tend to get quite a bit of notifications. Really I personally wouldn't use it as a means of responding to messages, just to read them and for directions if I am out walking through a city I don't know.

As for battery, it is all dependent on how you use it. I have gotten maybe 20 notification since my last post and the watch has gone down 3%. Over at XDA, there have been people saying that have gone about 11 hours on just about half of its battery. The initial people who were saying it needed to be charged twice a day were full of crap.

Again I think its a cool piece of tech and I like it. Its definitely is not for everyone but as of now I am happy with the purchase.

Edit: here are some pictures on my wrist and my current watch face.

Edit 2: I will also add, do not try to justify the purchase with the built in Heart rate monitor. I have tried using it three times and out of those three times, it has never been able to get anything remotely close to what my actual heart rate is. Even with those three times I have used it, it has needed to do multiple attempts to get a reading.
