I'm not saying the stats on this car aren't impressive. I'm not saying it won't perform well. I'm not saying it won't sell well. I'm saying, in my opinion, this car doesn't deserve the Z06 badge. They took all that made the Z06 an awesome car and tossed it out the window.
Clearly, I'm part of a dying minority. People today are more concerned with what gadgets are in the car but I'm not. I guess I'll have to stick with older cars while GM moves away from building cars for people like me.

I was pretty bummed they had moved so far from the heritage myself. But, after some reflection I realized that they had done that with the ZL-1 as well. It left some room for the Z/28 being a very focused car. I wonder if they aren't doing the same with the Corvette line-up...a high-performance all-around two-seater that will have a track-only/focused stablemate later. Time will tell.
