What about Car&Driver results? A looong way from 11.2 and almost identical to the manual transmission Ford.

NONE of these MotorTrend times were done on a drag strip. But look at them relative to each other. All would benefit from a well prepped drag strip, but this is disappointing for the Autocat. It was supposed to wipe the floor with the Ford. Not so much.

I have no idea what...if any passes they ran with a GT500 or ZL1 on that track....
....but I also think if they don't run the car on the same day same track that it doesn't mean a hell of a lot to compare the numbers..
Fact is the car ran an 11.4....multiple times...by an average Joe...time slips in hand.....that's a fact....I don't doubt the 11.2 at all
Now lets see how many GT500's will run an 11.4 ..over and over again...by an average Joe......I am not an auto guy with cars like this...but the auto has it's advantages.
...and we both know a ZL1 aint gonna touch that number stock
