Oh well good info while it lasted. I am in NC. I can legally open or conceal carry so if it is in plain sight it doesn't matter. (of course if I have to leave it in my car ie going into a secure building, I lock it up or not bring it at all) We have security vault in our building where we store our personal weapons.
What really matters if I get pulled over, I keep my hands 10&2 with my window down tell the officer I have a concealed weapons permit and I am carrying.
