I honestly say get both if possible. It will be impossible to do the smaller parts of the car like the front fasica, A pillars and C pillars without something like a 4 inch pad. But at the same time doing the doors, fenders, roof and such with with 4 inch pads will suck.

Well searched amazon and found the backing and pads for about 5 dollars each.. So that's not too bad. Will get then too when I order the regular pads.. Was thinking about a foam gun too.. Errr so many things.. Lol but this month I got my clothing allowance for uniforms but I have plenty for this year so I'm buying my stuff with that.. As for the DA, I'm shopping about. Some member here showed me what the DA from harbor freight can do at half of the cost of most.. But then idk... Well have to decide soon
