Not sure about bonds, but sometimes I end up running together with someone who is going roughly the same speed.
Seems like that used to happen a lot more, a long time ago.
Now I'm usually just trying to get around rolling road blocks, cruise control nazis, and those annoying people that bounce their speed constantly.
