My visual acuity is better than average. But with my setup (7-8Ft. away from a 55) I guess I'm right in the zone of 4K.
I'm one of those "close" sitters whos parents yelled at to get away from the TV cause it would ruin my eyes. Well, I'm still sitting close, and I still have my eyes.
I really wish I could buy a OLED tv, but the prices are still hanging near the ridiculous side.
