When the Younger is available at the Pub (like I said, it's not bottled) people wait in line for hours to get a glass. They do send out kegs to Southern Cali bars. A local bar pre-sold a limited amount of tickets for $20.00 that entitled you to two glasses.

Obviously the Elder is also exceptional, but MUCH easier to get as it's bottled and distributed, but the Younger is the one everyone has a hard-on to try because of its EXTREMELY limited availability…

It was the same way when Westvleteren was on top. It's only available for pickup at the monastery in Vleteren and not exported or for sale outside of Belgium. Sale of the beer at the monastery is limited to one case every 60 days, per person, per license plate and phone number.

People would capitalize on the rarity, and you used to be able to buy it on eBay for $125.00 a 6-pack, plus shipping…

Same for the Bruery. They have a 'Reserve Society' which costs $295.00 a year with a limited number of memberships available. I've seen beers that were available only to Bruery Reserve Society members sell for $350.00 a bottle on eBay…

Simply, AMAZING!!!
